Coal Gasification Project of SINOPEC Anqing Company Branch use Shell pressurization pulverized coal gasification technology, the service scope is first-phase, engineering design and EPC contracting. The daily capacity is 2000t of coal, 142000Nm³/h of crude syngas and 48000Nm³/h O₂ of ASU. The works include 3 core plants of ASU, purification and gasification, which is the largest Shell pulverized coal gasification plant in the world; Its oxygen generation capacity is 48200m³(N)/h, ASU with 48000Nm³/h, O₂ is currently largest nationalization ASU in China; Ammonia chiller in purification plant is the largest chiller in China, it uses ammonia as medium. Shell pulverized coal gasification technology use multiple opposed burner, the mixing of coal and oxygen/steam is good, the turn-down ratio is large with the advantages of safety, high efficiency and no pollution, it is the first application in the world. It has new technical requirements in design & manufacturing, engineering construction, test run & start up and operating running; The largest nationalization ASU first use the technique of master air compressor and booster driven by a turbine; High concentration CO Sour Shift technology used for axial and radial reactor is researched and developed by SNEC successfully in terms of pulverized coal gasification technology, it is the first case in the world, the project was completed and put into operation in November of 2006.
