Independent research and development of independent intellectual property rights, the only single series technology of million tons of methanol synthesis reactor, can replace the import technology.
We have completed the largest hydrogen production plant from coal water slurry in China- SINOPEC Maoming 200 thousand Nm³/h coal (coke)-to-hydrogen plant..
We are currently building new coal chemical projects of coal-to-methanol–ZHONGTIAN HECHUANG with annual output of 3600 KT, which is the largest project by far.
(2) Research and development pioneer of domestic synthetic gas purification technology
Independently developed, with independent intellectual property rights, shaft radial reactor technology of the world's first high concentration carbon monoxide sulfur tolerant transformation has been applied to dozens of industrial plants such as Sinopec Anqing branch coal gasification project, Coal-to-olefins projects of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group Co., Ltd.
The independently developed technology of acid gas removal, with independent intellectual property rights, has been applied to industrial plants in Sinopec Yangzi and Sinopec Jiujiang coal-to–hydrogen plants, replacing imported technology.
(3) Engineering pioneers in the field of IGCC, GTL and other fields
Building the first IGCC plant in China, used for large-scaled refining and chemical complex -- FREP IGCC Plant in Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Co., Ltd (FREP) under EPC turnkey, which won the General Contracting Silver Key Award.
Building the first IGCC power generation demonstrational plant in China using coal feedstock - Huaneng Green Coal Power Tianjin IGCC power station, this was the first integrated design by petrochemical industry and electric power industry.
(4) Engineering technology providers of all acrylonitrile plants in China
Independently developed acrylonitrile process package won the second prize of State Science and Technology Progress Award. "Acrylonitrile Plant Expansion Using New Technology" won the " State Excellent Technological Innovation Award in the Ninth Five-year-Plan".
SNED has provided engineering service and construction service for 13 acrylonitrile plants to 9 domestic companies, and later use its independently developed engineering technology to expand their capacity. The production may be increased by 40%.
The acrylonitrile projects we finished won more than a dozen awards, such us "General Engineering Contracting Golden Key Prize", "State Excellent Engineering Design Award", "State Outstanding Engineering Consulting Achievement Award", "Chemical Industry High Quality Engineering Award" and so on.
(5) Industry Upgrading leader in the field of C1 industry
Cooperating with professional research institute, we instantly developed and popularized new processes and new technologies In the field of C1 chemical industry, making important contributions to the technological progress of natural gas acetylene and syngas utilization in China.
We completed SINOPEC key construction projects – CHUANWEI 300 KTPA Vinyl Acetate Plant - as a key technology and equipment provider, whose products are used in national defense (special fiber) and financial industry (special binder) replacing imported materials. The project won the first prize of Excellent Engineering Design Award and High Quality Engineering Award,.
We undertook engineering design for the C1 Complex in Nanjing Yangzi BASF Project, and introduced the efficient and environment-protected world's leading technology into China.
We undertook the engineering design for Maoming Isononyl Alcohol Plant, filling the domestic blank.
We undertook the technical optimization and project construction of the Baiyin TDI project, contributing to the national defense construction.
(6) Model of petrochemical industry in the field of flue gas desulfurization and denitrification and wastewater treatment
The use of independent intellectual property rights of "FCC flue gas desulfurization, denitration and dust removal technology" and "shortcut nitrification-denitrification treatment of high ammonia wastewater technology" for the first set of domestic environmental protection and emission reduction plant in China, has provided a complete set of control technology to domestic oil refining enterprises for treating the flue gas and dust, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide pollution.
The high salt water zero discharge device built in SINOPEC Great Wall Energy and Chemical Co., LRD by SNEC, was the first high salt wastewater zero discharge plant for coal chemical industry in China, using domestic technology. It belongs to Sinopec "blue sky and clean water" project. The recovery rate of the system water can be over 99%, and 35 million tons of water can be saved in a year, which saved over ten million yuan.
(7) Special Utility technology integrators such as large air separation and cogeneration
Having completed engineering design and construction of air separation and cogeneration plants in a number of domestic refining & chemical complex and coal chemical project, and integrated and optimized the related technologies.
We undertook the first industrial construction and application of the domestic large air separation plant of 40 thousand Nm³ grade.
Undertook the construction of the 6x8.2 ten thousand Nm³ air separation unit in Zhongtian Hechuang coal chemical demonstration projects, currently the largest new coal chemical project in China.
Construction of the world's largest air separation group - the 12x10 ten thousand Nm³ air separation of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group Co., Ltd, and realized nationalization of 100 thousand Nm³ grade air separation unit construction.
(8) The owner of advanced petrochemical equipment manufacturing and construction technology
SNEC has taken part in the national key project construction for a long period of time, such as SPC, Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical Company), ZRCC, etc.
SNEC is the builder of the national strategic reserve oil depot, having built the first 100 km³ and first 150 km³ large crude oil storage tanks in China.
In the field of cryogenic tank construction SNEC has remarkable advantage in technology, having built the largest cryogenic tank in China - Shenzhen Dapeng 5x16 ten thousand m³ LNG storage tank.
Having advanced petrochemical equipment manufacturing technology, SNEC has recreated new Asian and Chinese history records several times. For example, in CNOOC Huizhou Refining Project Phase II, SNEC has manufactured and transported overall propylene column in the 1000 KTPA ethylene plant, which is the largest column being entirely built and moved.
