On May 9th, a special site meeting of Sinopeccontractor safety management was held in Huainan. Jiao Fangzheng, a member ofthe Sinopec party committee and deputy general manager of Sinopec, togetherwith all the participants, observed and inspected SNEC's Zhongan project site.

Prior to the meeting, Jiao Fangzheng, accompanied byKang Wanzhong, deputy general manager of SNEC, came to SNEC’s Zhongan Projectsite to listen to the report from project leaders on the coal gasificationprocess, the project implementation and the sub-contractor safety management. JiaoFangzheng affirmed the civilized and standardized appearance of the company'sproject site and the spiritual outlook of the staff, and agreed with the steelstructure modular construction and all-weather video surveillance. As theproject is in the peak period of installation, Jiao Fang is demanding that theproject department of the company should further fulfill the mainresponsibility of safety management, push forward safety supervision and ensurethe safety, quality and punctuality of the construction.

At the site of coal gasification plant, theparticipants showed great interest in the advantages of coal gasificationplant, such as technology, performance, environmental protection and hydrogenproduction cost. The delegates fully affirmed the complex, difficult, andlarge-scaled modern coal chemical engineering, as well as SNEC's high standardsHSSE management and control measures. In this site inspection SNEC shows itsgood image of project management, and promoted the market development andapplication of coal gasification technology.
