Recently, SNEC succeeded in winning the generalcontract of installation and construction of 300KTPA Alkylation Plant inGasoline Upgrading Project of Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company(ZRCC)

In the project, a new 300KTPA sulfuric acid alkylationunit was built, using unreacted C4 fraction from MTBE as raw material. The alkylationunit project mainly consists of feedstock pretreatment, reaction,refrigeration, reaction products and fractionation, etc. A 30KTPA waste acidregeneration unit, an 8000 t/hr circulating water yard, a substation, a cabinetroom and four 650 m3 LPG storage tanks are built.

The 300KTPA alkylation unit installation andconstruction work is scheduled to commence on May 5th, 2018, and the plannedconstruction period is 178 days.
