From February 7th to 8th, Ma Yongsheng, the member of Sinopec Group Party Committee, the deputy general manager of Sinopec Group and the senior vice president of Sinopec Corporation visited the company to investigate and express sympathy. Xie Zaiku, the director of the Science and Technology Department of Sinopec Group, Li Defang, the director of the Information Department of Sinopec Group, Xu Zhiyuan, the deputy director of the Legal Department of Sinopec Group, Da Zhijian, the president of Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, Wu Changjiang, the president of Beijing Chemical Industry Research Institute, and Fang Xiangchen, the president of the Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals, Yang Weimin, the president of Shanghai Petrochemical Research Institute, participated in the survey. Xu Yijun, the executive director of the company and the party secretary, and members in Ningbo headquarter, accompanied the investigation.

Ma Yongsheng first came to the company's production steering center, watched the demonstration of the design integration and digital delivery, and the company's application of remote video control; he visited the design staff of AMUR project department to understand the progress of the project and expressed New Year Greetings to the employees of the company.

Xu Yijun made a work report on behalf of the company leadership team and introduced the history and basic situation of the company. After more than ten years of development, the company restructuring goals are basically achieved, a relatively complete industrial chain is formed, core businesses are highlighted, team structure is being continuously improved, the economic indicators are in good conditions, and the company influence continues rising. Xu Yijun introduced the key work of the company in recent years in terms of scientific and technological innovation, market development, safety and quality, project construction, reform deepening, management innovation and party building, and he also introduced the work arrangement for the next stage in terms of vigorously practicing the innovation-driven strategy, persisting in maintaining efficiency, continuous implementation of deepening reform, progressing construction projects, making efforts to ensure the safety and stability of the company, and further strengthening party building.

At the meeting, Kang Wanzhong, the deputy general manager of the company, gave a report on the development of science and technology, and Xiao Zhenping, the deputy general manager of the company, made a report oninformatization construction. Da Zhijian, Wu Changjiang, Fang Xiangchen and Yang Weimin recalled the friendly cooperation with the company and expressed their willingness to continue deepening cooperation.

After listening to the report, Ma Yongsheng fully affirmed the work of the company in all aspects. First, both the management line and staff were in good status. The management team highlighted politics and unity, established clear goals with clear thinking, and had a strong and enterprising spirit. The staffs were very astounded, worked very well with energy and confidence. The second was the productive operation. In the general cold environment of the market, arduous struggle and active actions have achieved stable economic benefits. The third was rich innovation. The company adhered to independent innovation and integrated innovation strategies, got a series of achievements, supported the development of coal chemical business and the improvement of environmental protection level.

Ma Yongsheng put forward three requirements for doing a good job in the future: Firstly, the general development trend shall be well understood to promote the quality and efficiency management of Sinopec Group, provide support for the survival and development of the refining and chemical business and vigorously explore the market to create more economic benefits. Secondly, innovation-driven strategy shall be followed to upgrade the overall refining and chemical technology level, well organize the research and transformation of key scientific and technological projects in accordance with the unified deployment of Sinopec Group, continuously deepen and perfect the technological innovation mechanism, strengthen intellectual property sharing and paid use, and strengtheninformatization. Thirdly, the responsibilities shall be cascaded to each level to strengthen the party building, extend the strict management of the party to the basic level, promote the construction of a clean and honest party, promote the building of a harmonious enterprise, and strengthen talent building. Ma Yongsheng stressed that we must implement the spirit of HSSE work conference of Sinopec Group in 2018, further increase political sense, strengthen accountability, and take effective measures to ensure that safety production, environmental protection, public safety, and occupational health work are well done.

Xu Yijun expressed that the development of Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd. benefited from the strong support and care of the party committee of Sinopec Group, and the brother companies. The speech delivered by Ma Yongsheng was highly forward-looking and instructive, it pointed the way for the company’s future development. After the meeting, it is necessary to convene the management leadership meeting and workshops to communicate the speech at each level to deepen the reform, improve technological innovation, market development, safety and quality, and promote the high-quality development of the company.
