On February 2nd, the company held a meeting in conference room no. 212to convey to the middle-level leaders the spirit of Sinopec Group annual workconference. This was the second time to communicate the spirit of Sinopec Groupannual work conference after the party committee meeting held on February 1st.Zhou Guo, the general manager of the company and deputy secretary of the partycommittee presided over the meeting. Xu Yijun, the executive director and partysecretary of the company, gave a special lecture. The company’s leadershipmembers, and the responsible persons of the relevant subsidiaries anddepartments attended the meeting.

Xu Yijun conveyed the speech made by the general manager Dai Houliang,namely, “Taking the spirit of the 19th Communist Party of China NationalCongress as the guide and working hard to compose a new chapter inpetrochemical industry”, in which Dai Houliang reviewed the main activities and tasks carried out in 2017 fromthe aspects of production operation, market development, tapping potential andincreasing efficiency, adjusting development, deepening reforms, corporatemanagement, social responsibility and party building, systematically explained the targets and keywork for 2018 under the spirit of 19th Communist Party of China National Congressand proposed requirements to strictly administer the party and implement thetalent-thriving-enterprise strategies.

Xu Yijun pointed out that the speech made by Dai Houliang run throughthe problem-oriented and reform spirit, it was the guidance for Sinopec Group forthe whole year’s work. Sinopec Group must follow the requirements andthoroughly understand the spirit of Sinopec Annual Work Meeting. The key tasksshall be systematically arranged throughout the year, coordination shall beenhanced and great efforts shall be made to promote the development of SinopecGroup and drive various tasks to a new stage.
