On December 28th, the SEG Equipment and Technology Center held anunveiling ceremony at Xiangshan Plant of Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd, XiangWenwu, the general manager of SEG, Ye Jianming, the secretary of XiangshanCounty Party Committee, Xu Yijun, the secretary of Party Committee and executivedirector of the company, and Zhou Guo, the general manager of the companyjointly unveiled the Equipment and Technology Center.

The guests from Sinopec Engineering Department, Materials and EquipmentDepartment, Ningbo Branch of Sinopec International Business Company, Xiao Gangand Qi Guosheng, the deputy general managers of SEG and the responsible personsof related departments, Shi Jianding, the deputy governor of Xiangshan Countyand other local government leaders, as well as the persons from the SinopecEngineering Incorporation, Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company, ShanghaiEngineering Company, Nanjing Engineering Company, Luoyang Technology R&DCenter, the Fourth Construction Company, the Fifth Construction Company, theTenth Construction Company, the Transportation Company and Ningbo EngineeringCo., Ltd witnessed the unveiling ceremony of SEG Equipment and TechnologyCenter.

The Equipment and Technology Center is established by SEG in accordancewith the Sinopec Group development strategy requirements, aiming to furtherimplement the positioning of the “Four Centers” functions, promote the high-enddevelopment of the manufacturing business, and make it a key competitivecomponent of SEG and gain new growth points of benefits.

The Equipment and Technology Center is tasked for the developmentfunction of SEG manufacturing business. Through development of proprietaryhigh-value-added products such as proprietary equipment, modular equipment andcomplete equipment packages, it can enable SEG to become an equipment packagesupplier from general equipment manufacturer, a service provider from equipmentmanufacturer, finally become a critical component of the “One-Stop TotalSolution” of SEG so as to provide necessary support and guarantee for the“Going Global” strategy.

The unveiling ceremony was presided over by Qi Guosheng, the deputygeneral manager of SEG.

Fang Jiagui, the assistant general manager of SEG and also as thegeneral manager of General Management Department and the Strategic PlanningDepartment (Enterprise Reform Management Department) announced theestablishment of SEG Equipment and Technology Center and read out theappointment documents.

Jiang Liqiang, the deputy general manager of the company expressed hiscongratulations on the establishment of the Equipment and Technology Center onbehalf of the Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd in his speech. He also stated thatNingbo Engineering Co., Ltd will firmly grasp the favorable opportunity on theestablishment of the Equipment and Technology Center, follow the requirementsof SEG, do a good job in the day-to-day management of the Equipment andTechnology Center, and provide maximum resource guarantee, continue deepeningreform, improve quality and efficiency, and strengthen coordination withmanufacturing operation management committee, actively cooperate with allrelated organizations in mutually beneficial way, effectively enhance the addedvalue of the products, promote the healthy and orderly development of themanufacturing sector, strive to provide the owners with the best qualityservices, and also make positive contributions to local economic development.

Shi Jianding, the deputy governor of Xiangshan County, on behalf of theXiangshan County Government, congratulated the establishment of the Equipmentand Technology Center and thanked Sinopec and SEG for long supporting XiangshanCounty's economic and social development, and wished that the Equipment and Technology Center will havea very bright outlook, and addressed that the enterprises and the localgovernments must have the same goals, treat each other with sincerity, and wellcooperate between the government and enterprises so as to realize mutualbenefits and mutual development.

Xiao Gang, the deputy general manager of SEG put forward requirementsfor the future development of the Equipment and Technology Center in hisspeech: Firstly, seize the opportunity and take advantages of the currentsituation. Secondly, overall coordination and sincere cooperation are required.Thirdly, long-term and high-end development shall be well planned. He alsohoped to work with all parties involved to help each other and work together ina concerted effort to promote the coordinated development of enterprises andlocal governments in an effort to achieve mutual benefits.

Before the unveiling ceremony of the Equipment and Technology Center,Xiang Wenwu, the general manager of SEG, Xu Yijun, the secretary of PartyCommittee and executive director of the company, and Zhou Guo, the generalmanager of the company and Ye Jianming, the secretary of Xiangshan County PartyCommittee attended the forum. Both parties reviewed the history of cooperationbetween the enterprises and the local government and exchanged the ideals forfurther strengthening and deepening the cooperation between enterprises and thelocal government.

In the afternoon of the same day, SEG manufacturing business managementcommittee held its first meeting to discuss the work of the Equipment andTechnology Center.
