The kick-off meeting for Zhongtian Hechuang 900,000 t/a methanol distillation project was held at Shanghai branch on February 7, at the attendance of Mr. Wang Hongguang as well as the project management center and associate departments that participated in the meeting through video. The meeting marks the official launch of the company’s first EPC project in 2017.

The meeting started with the report on design work plan by design manager Gu Ying, including relevant problems, which was then followed by the speech of project manager Shen Hairen who put forward some requirements on design work based on the actual situation of the project. Later on Mr. Wang Hongguang mentioned that it’s not an easy thing to win the project under the sluggish market environment, and it’s urgent to enhance the service awareness and make an overall plan according to the characteristics and tight construction schedule of the project, and in the meantime, we must pay close attention to the quality and safety of design, make reasonable schedule and learn good experience from similar projects to make sure there will be no design change and the intermediate handover can be completed as scheduled. The chief leader of Shanghai branch and the project designer pledged that they will strictly perform contract obligations and work hard to overcome difficulties so as to complete the project on time with nice quality and quantity.
