The mechanical intermediate handover of the 3 mt/a DHF of Zhenhai Refining & Chemical, was done as scheduled by the construction and installation company in the morning of January 25.

As the largest project of Zhenhai Refining & Chemical constructed in 2016, the 3 mt/a DHF and its auxiliary system mainly serve to meet the need of upgrading diesel quality up to China V diesel standard. The unit consists of ten major parts, including general layout area, feedstock processing area, reaction area, fractionation area, compressor area, utility area, desulfurization & solvent regeneration area, buried works, heat tracing works and power transformation & distribution and cabinet rooms. The installation works lasted for more than one year starting from January 5, 2016, with installed works of 5,201 tons steel structure, 184,000 inch diameter process pipeline, 105 sets of static equipment, 45 sets of rotary equipment, 6 voltage transformers and 285.6 km electric instrument cable.
