On January 20, the key construction project in Anhui Province and No. 1 project in Huainan-Zhongan combined coal chemical integral project resumed to construct.

Mr. Wang Hong-Mayor of Huainan, Anhui Province, Mr. Li Guoqing-director of SINOPEC Engineering Department, Mr. Yang Dong-general manager of Changcheng Energy Chemical attended this meeting, the representatives from SINOPEC Development Planning Department, Safety Supervision Bureau, Environment and Energy Department, Engineering Department, Materials and Equipment Department, Chemical Engineering Department. Changcheng Energy Chemical Company, Zhongan Combined Company, Zhongan Project Team and SNEC attended this meeting. Mr. Kang Wanzhong-SNEC vice manager was invited to participate this meeting.

Zhongan Combined Project adopted the current international most advanced production process control technology, it is designed, constructed and managed according to the most advanced energy-saving emission reduction standards to build a world class coal chemical industry base with safe production, harmonic development, high technical level, good economic benefit and energy saving and environmental protection. The coal gasification plant SNEC constructed is the leading plant in this project; it uses SE-Dongfang furnace technology with SINOPEC independent intellectual property rights.

At the resumption of work mobilization meeting, Mr. Wang Hong expressed that the restart of Zhongan project is a significant measure of Huainan municipal government and SINOPEC to firmly establish the new concept of development, promote structural reform of the supply side, it is the concrete action to implement the decision and arrangement on adjusting structure, promoting transform and increasing benefit of the CPC Central Committee and State Council for the petrochemical industry, this also is the fruit of close cooperation, mutual benefit for many years and win-win and common effort.
