SNEC’s Two Development Projects Passed SINOPEC Acceptance

On January 13, the two technology development projects of “SE gasification process simulation and production optimization guidance system development” and “Research and development of methanol synthesis reactor in slurry bed ” passed expert evaluation organized by SINOPEC Science and Technology Department smoothly, the two projects were undertook by Ningbo Technology Research Institute, Eastern China University of Science and Technology and Nanjing Chemical Research Institute, 12 experts from SINOPEC Science and Technology Department, Chemical Business Department and the relevant refining enterprises, research institute and Zhejiang University established project evaluation acceptance committee. Mr. Xiao Zhenping-SNEC vice general manager attended this project acceptance meeting.

”SE gasification process simulation and production optimization guidance system development” project is to establish process index calculation model, water-cooled wall heat transfer mathematical model, calculation model of furnace temperature in gasifier through experimental study and simulation calculation; Developed SE pulverized coal gasification process simulation and production optimization guidance software. Its simulation result closely meets the actual operation data of Yangtze SE Dongfang furnace plant; it can provide scientific guidance for stable operation and optimal operation of SE pulverized coal gasification. “Research and development of methanol synthesis reactor in slurry bed” project developed slurry bed methanol synthesis catalyst, developed slurry bed reactor gas-liquid-solid separation and slurry bed internal filtration experimental study, established slurry bed methanol synthesis reactor mathematical model, simulated methanol synthesis operation condition, defined the main structural parameter of reactor; Defined slurry bed methanol synthesis process flow, designed slurry bed methanol synthesis reactor, it can realize catalyst online change.

The experts and leaders involved fully affirmed the achievements of Ningbo Technology Research Institute and other research and study institutes for SE-Dongfang furnace technical plant optimal improvement and realizing safe full run and exploratory development of slurry bed methanol synthesis, meanwhile, they hope SNEC continue to actively track the new development of domestic and foreign technology, fully play the advantages and leading role in the field of coal chemical industry and make a greater contribution to the construction of SINOPEC coal chemical projects.
