Good news came from theolefins department of Shanghai Petrochemical at 8:30 am of August 2 that the 2#olefins plant had an instant success of loaded operation and started to produceacceptable products after over ten hours of operation, signifying the successfulcompletion of the overhaul for the 2# olefins plant (new area), which wascontracted by the company.
