On the afternoon of July12, a group of leaders from Anhui Provincial Federation of Trade Unions,including Ruan Huailou, the vice chairman of party group and other relatedmembers, visited Zhong’an project site to extended greetings to workers whowere working against heat. They were accompanied by the leaders and relatedpersons-in-charge of the owner of Zhong’an project.

Ruan Huailou delivered “coolingpacks” containing towels, mung beans, rock sugar and drinking water to workersat the site of coal gasification plant of Zhong’an project, and reminded themto pay attention to health and safety while working. He also required theproject team to strengthen labor protection and heatstroke prevention toprotect people working in hot days, and also to control outdoor working timeand intensity based on the actual situation of projects so as to ensure thesafety and health of workers both in daily life and work.
