On June 18th, with the smooth hoisting of the No.1 boiler drum of the Boiler Island for the thermounit of the Qinghai DameiProject, which was contracted by the Company under EPC, it marked theinstallation and construction of the boiler island entering into a new stage.

The boiler drum of the boiler island, as thecomponent in the boiler with the largest piece weight, is the mainpressure-receiving unit of the boiler, and forms a water circulation systemwith the water-cooled wall pipe, the descending pipe and the header. The drumhoisted is 9557mm long, and the outer diameter of the drum is 1780mm, the wallthickness is 90mm, with installation weight of about 43.5 tons.
