On June 5^th, the substation for the900,000-ton/year refined methanol plant of Zhongtian Hechuang Project wassuccessfully charged.

At 3:43 pm on the day, with the joint efforts ofthe construction unit, equipment manufacturer, project department, supervisionand related personnel of the owner, the substation started to receiveelectricity. Firstly, the transformer was subjected to the first full-voltageimpact test from the chief transformer substation of the methanol plant. After10 minutes of operation, the subsequent three impact tests were passed.Finally, the low-voltage switchgear busbar was powered—the low-voltage system nuclearphase tested, looped, and buscoupled. After the test, the substation waspowered.

The substation was successfully powered, whichcreated favorable conditions for the subsequent test run of the motor and thepump.
