On April 23rd, Sinopec held a workshop on thecompiling of "Develop a First-Class Strategic Plan and Action Plan(2018-2050) and a Three-Year Rolling Plan (2018-2020)" in SNEC, theScience and Technology Department of Sinopec, Shanghai Petrochemical ResearchInstitute and leaders of SNEC, and experts participated in the meeting. KangWanzhong, deputy general manager of SNEC attended the meeting.

Based on the "Two Three-Years and Two Ten-YearsDevelopment Goals” of Sinopec, the participating experts exchange and discussintensively on the technical basis, development trend, development objectives,development priorities and implementation plans of the chemical industry. GuoWenyuan, the chief expert of SNEC, introduced the developing trend andimplementing measures of C1 chemical industry and fine chemical industry, andput forward some concrete measures and suggestions.

SNEC will take the opportunity of “developing afirst-class strategic plan”, to study and analyze the trends of domesticindustrial development and technological reform. To adjust itself and topredict the impact of trend changes on the mid- and long-term development, forfurther positioning SNEC in the field of science and technology and determineits main direction.
