On the afternoon of Apr. 12th, SNEC 2018 informationwork conference was held. Xiao Zhenping, deputy general manager, attended andchaired the meeting. Leaders of various units and departments of SNEC attendedthe meeting.

At the meeting, Information Management Departmentsummarized the information work in 2017, analyzed the existing problems and thefuture situation, deployed the information work of 2018, especially the workconcerning Information Technology Development in SNEC’s “13th Five-Year Plan”,and achievements are analyzed. It is clarified that the general idea ofinformation work in 2018 is "solidifying achievement, optimizing andupgrading, and strengthening services." To lay a solid foundation and planactively to further extend its achievement in informatization and digitizationis a very important task, and on the basis of this, to developintellectualization.

In the meeting, the spirit of SINOPEC informationconference and SEG informatization work meeting is conveyed; the strong pointsof SEG’s affiliates in the information work are interpreted; and the advancedinformation units and individuals in 2017 are recognized. Finance Department,Electronic Control Unit, and POX project department of SNEC shared theirexperience and information construction achievements at the meeting.

Finally, Xiao Zhenping commented and analyzed the keyinformation construction work of SNEC, affirmed the achievement in 2017, andpointed out the main problems existed. He put forward five requirements for theinformation work in 2018: Firstly, adhere to the "six unified"management; Secondly, through optimizing ERP, embrace the "Internet+"actively, study the intelligent analysis and push notification of theengineering data, take the opportunity of developing intelligent manufacturingin China, and explore the intelligent construction in an all-round way usinginternet technology. Thirdly, strengthen team building, and use talents in theinformation technology, and train compound talents. Fourthly, strengthen thecooperation with software venders, and make full use of social resources forour information construction. In the cooperation, we must give full play to ourleading role, and protect our intellectual property rights; Fifthly, implement"one post and two responsibilities" in anti-corruption, and strictlyabide by disciplines and rules in the process of hardware and softwareprocurement, partner selection, outsourcing of services, and disposal of wastematerials.
