The company held a seminar on corporate cultural construction

Recently, the company held a seminar on corporate cultural construction.Xu Yijun, the executive director and the party secretary of the company,attended the seminar and proposed related requirements. The superintendents ofinvolved departments, including Party Committee Working Department, GeneralManager's Office, Enterprise Reform Management Department, Human ResourcesDepartment, Legal Affairs Department, Quality Management Department, SafetyManagement Department, Supervision Department (Disciplinary Commission Office)and Mass Work Department, attended the seminar.

At the seminar, the participants put forward their opinions andrecommendations on how to promote cultural development in light of the actualsituation. The Work Plan for Corporate Cultural Construction was approved atthe seminar, and the company decided to establish a Corporate Cultural ConstructionCommittee led by the main party leaders of the company, which consists of 9special work teams, such as office and core culture work group, safety culturework group, and quality culture work group. In the Work Plan for CorporateCultural Construction, it specifies the construction principles of"People-oriented, Full Participation, Gradual Progress, Inheritance andInnovation, and Integrated Promotion and Practices”, and the constructionobjectives highlighting “one core”, perfecting “three systems" and forming"one system". (Highlighting "one core" means to highlightthe shaping of core value concept of the enterprise; perfecting "threesystems” means to establish a concept recognition system centered on the commonvalues, a behavior identification system centered on the employee image and a visualidentification system centered on the enterprise’s logo; and forming "onesystem" means to build a culture system with times characteristics andindividual characteristics, and in line with the company's actual situation andthe requirements for an international engineering company.

At the seminar, it also clearly defined that the year 2018 will be the“Year of Corporate Cultural Construction” and the year 2019 will be the “Yearof Corporate Cultural Improvement”. In 2018, the corporate cultural constructionwill be conducted in four stages, including comprehensive planning, active fullparticipation, review, discussion and feedbacks, summarization and culturalconstruction commencement. And the Corporate Culture Manual shall be completedbefore the end of the year. In 2019, the company will, in three stages,including promulgation for guidance,continuous promotion and summarization for improvement, promote corporatecultural construction in all links of the company's production, operation andmanagement activities, so as to subconsciously integrate common values intoemployees’ behaviors and work practices for becoming the conscious behavior ofall employees.

Xu Yijun emphasized that great attention shall be paid to corporatecultural construction that is regarded as a long-term systematic project forcontinuously enhancing enterprise’s image, building core competitiveness, andproviding spiritual support and power source for the company's "3310"strategic goal, and he also addressed that the essence of the company's 15years of reconstruction and reform shall be summarized and inherited toconstruct the characteristic corporate culture, the responsibilities shall beclearly defined for solidly carrying out various tasks, the company’s culturaldevelopment committee shall establish a good communication mechanism, and eachwork group shall undertake their respective responsibilities for carrying outcorporate cultural construction in an orderly manner, all the companyfunctional departments and project departments, who act as the defenders,practitioners, implementers, and innovators for the corporate culture, shallguide the employees to participate in the discussion for corporate cultures,solicitation and review for various opinions as well as publicity andpromotion, and corporate cultural construction shall be organically integratedwith production and management activities to form a work pattern of mutualpromotion and common improvement for corporate cultural construction andspecific activities, so as to ensure that in-depth corporate culturecircumstance is formed in the company.
