On December 4th, two cycle gas coolers for PE plant of Qinghai DameiProject, which was EPC contracted by the company, were successfully hoisted inplace, marking the successful completion of the lifting operation for PE plantin 2017.

The two cycle gas coolers that were hoisted were manufactured by theShanghai Machinery Manufacturing Company. The net weight of single container is115.6 tons, the cylinder diameter is 2.2 meters, the length is 21.4 meters, andthe design pressure of the tube side is 36 kilograms. Before hoisting, theproject department levelled the hoisting site and conducted safety inspectionson the machineries and tools. In the hoisting process, tasks were clearlyassigned to the lifting staffs, and the operation links were coordinated witheach other. The operation was strictly performed in accordance with therequirements of safety and technical measures. The whole process was slow,steady, and safe. One and a half hours later, the recycle gas coolers E-4002A\Bwere hoisted to the intended equipment foundations and accurately positioned.
