The company held a ceremony for signing the construction contract for the bid section I of the 40 Mt/a refining & chemical integrated project (phase I) of Zhejiang Petrochemical on August 8. The party committee secretary of the company Xu Yijun and the chairman of the board of Zhejiang Petrochemical Li Shuirong attended the signing ceremony and made speeches. The contract was signed by the vice-general manager of the company Wang Hongguang and the associate director of the development department of Zhejiang Petrochemical Chen Shihao. Other attendants include the relevant head persons of the market department and construction department of the company and the Construction and Installation Company.

The 40 Mt/a refining & chemical integrated project of Zhejiang Petrochemical is one of key projects oriented to building a green petrochemical base at Zhoushan, Zhejiang, which is the largest refining & chemical integrated project of China. Xu said, the signing of the construction contract means the project is officially moving into field implementation stage.
