On October 14, oil refining and chemical upgrading seminar was successfully held in Binzhou, Shandong with SNEC as co-organizer. More than 100 representatives from local refinery enterprises such as Jingbo petrochemical, Lihuayi, Changyi petrochemical, Jindian chemical, Xinhai petrochemical, Wantong petrochemical and Binhua group attended the meeting to discuss how to seize the golden opportunity for present development after obtaining the right to import crude oil and export refined oil under the current low oil prices and intelligent background.

At the meeting, experts from China National Petroleum and Chemical Planning Institute, China Petroleum and Chemical Association, SIEMENS, and Hollysys Company shared ideas on current local refineries enterprises development direction, the opportunities and challenges brought about by Integration of information technology and industrialization to local refineries and digital factory construction.

At the meeting, the SNEC reported the complete hydrogen solutions for oil quality upgrade. On the basis of long-term engineering practice of SNEC, detailed instruction was made from 4 aspects: the refinery hydrogen production needs, cost benefits of different raw materials, hydrogen production methods selection and case analysis. At the same time, SNEC also reported the digitization and integration work. With Zhenhai hydrogen production as the case, introduction to methods and processes of digital delivery was made, which aroused great repercussions in the meeting. Many representatives said it was the first time for them to hear an engineering company discuss the topic. The digital delivery is the trend of engineering company’s future development. Therefore, the digital ideas and long-term practice of SNEC are consistent with the needs of users.

The meeting provided SNEC with the opportunity for its debut in front of Shandong local refineries enterprises. With cooperation of various departments, SNEC demonstrated its strength in coal chemical industry and digitization and created a good image of the company.
