At 15:48 August 27, 3# ASU of Shenhua Ningxia Coal to Oil Project generated oxygen and nitrogen successfully with on spec purity.

Since June27 when the turbine of 3# ASU successfully passed the solo test, it took two months for joint commissioning of steam turbine, air compressor and air booster, pre-cooling purification commissioning, expander commissioning, coldbox pearlite loading to generating the on-spec products, this unit had a commissioning cycle 1/3 shorter than the average in ASU sector.

The first AUS generating on-spec oxygen and nitrogen not only effectively guarantees the nitrogen for downstream units for purge, replacement and protection, but also laid down solid foundation for commissioning with feed for methanol line on 10/01 and product oil line A commissioning with feed on 11/15 and eventual line-up of the process.
