Successful and Initial Lift of Heavy Equipment for ZRCC Cracked Gasoline Extraction Project

On August 11, after lifting of 45min, the C8 cut column of 3.4m diameter, 71.45m height and net weight at 192.9t was successfully put in place, indicating the ZRCC 27 KTA cracked gasoline extraction project as undertaken by SNEC officially entered the heavy equipment erection phase.

ZRCC 27 KTA cracked gasoline extraction project features three equipment above 80t i.e. the C8 cut column, extraction distiller and solvent recovery tower. In order to minimize the operation at height and safety risk and boost the construction productivity, SNEC organized resources to “dress up” the column which means the primary attached piping, platform and corrosion resistance/insulation of the column were erected on the ground.

At 10:17 am of the day, with the whistle of lifting commander, the C8 cut column with total weight of 285t was slowly lifted at the head by the primary crane (1250t capacity caterpillar crane) and tail lifting (by 260t capacity caterpillar crane)…..

This lifting was implemented by lifting company as consigned by SNEC, and the other two equipments will be lifted on August 13 and 14.
