On November 1, flue gas desulphurization and denitrition project basic design review meeting of Guangzhou Branch, Jinmen Branch and Zhanjiang Dongxing was held in Shanghai. The experts from SINOPEC Development Planning Department, Engineering Department, Material & Equipment Supply Coordinating Office, project construction companies, SNEC and so on attended this meeting.

SNEC made an overall report on overview for flue gas desulfurization denitration technology overview of catalytic cracking plant and the concrete situation of basic design review for 4 desulphurization and dentition revamping project, and then SNEC gave some answers to the issues raised by the owners. On the basis, the review meeting discussed the4 problems existed in catalytic cracking plant HSRG revamping, actively communicated some key problems, the purpose is to deepen the standardization design for catalytic cracking plant flue gas desulfurization and denitration renovation project in SINOPEC system.

Combing with SINOPEC catalytic cracking plant flue gas governing requirements, the involved units were required to select catalytic cracking plant desulfurization and denitration renovation technology suitable for self-development to reach SINOPEC annual environmental protection target.
