The Zhenhai POX projectfulfilled an important key date for its construction. On Sep 10^th, gasificationgenerated wastewater treatment plant began its commissioning with water, thuspaving the way for bacteria domestication for the start-up sewages to beintroduced for the plant.

The gasification generated wastewater treatment plant is oneenvironmentally friendly and accessory to the POX project performed by thecompany on EPC basis. The wastewater will undergo multi-stage flocculation,short-range biological reaction, ozone catalytic oxidation reaction andaeration biological filtration process to remove the total nitrogen, ammonianitrogen and COD to meet the requirements for environmental protection.

The first and second blowers started at 12:30 and 13:10 respectively. At 15:30, the air supply via aeration linesin the short-range bio-reaction tank began. As of Sep 10th, the gasificationgenerated wastewater treatment plant has completed flushing of lines forprocess water, domestic water, fire water and the trunk line for CCW supply,purging of non-purified air and purified air and solo test of three blowers.The trunk line for gas supply was lined up. Layout of the branch line for bio-aeratedfiltration tank was completed. Two sewage conditioning tanks were sealed forwater feeding. The sewage shop has begun its commissioning with clean water.Besides, energizing of the power supply cabinet between the substation and theinstrument cabinet rooms and of the DCS network cabinet and system cabinet hascompleted.
